SFBaby may soon run out of places to sit.

Between Sunday night and Monday morning, we were gently woken up…oh, about four times during the middle of the night by our (former) perfect little sleeper. We weren’t quite sure of what was up, but when SFDad stuck his finger in the wee one’s mouth that morning, we discovered a tiny little razor edge on her bottom gum!

Her brand new teeth are barely visible, but after some careful investigation later in the week, we discovered that she actually has two teeth coming in at the same time (which is apparently common). She has been chomping up a storm this week, although that’s not admittedly not so different from what’s been going on for the last few months.

Every since she was three months old, someone would invariably tell us “she’s probably teething” whenever she was drooling. We bought that excuse for the first month or so, and then we just decided that babies probably just drool, period.

    Cute little razors! Wait until the top ones come in and SF Mommy has to feed to her. :-)
    Oh…fyi, teething lasts a good year. Fun times ahead.

    Outch ….! We feel with you! But counting tooth number nine – eleven more to go (I do not want to think of the “walking nights”) – we can say that you learn how to get food between the “cute little razors” and your fingers OUT in one piece. But this took us a few loud “ouchs”. Well, and the sleeping will hopefully get better again between the teeth!
