Un cadeau?
[/caption]Yesterday, I received a long-awaited package of baby supplies: some fast-flow nipples and a new bottle brush. This is exciting stuff indeed at the SFBaby household.
The UPS person dropped it off while we were doing our grocery shopping, so it was waiting for us when we got back…but someone else on the street apparently thought that our package was very exciting too, since I noticed that the box was ripped apart and sitting in the middle of our foyer. We have a fancy iron gate in front of our place (over which Mr. UPS presumably threw the package), so in theory, this shouldn’t have happened…but anyway, I suppose that it could have been anyone if the gate did not close properly.
Apparently, our interloper did not find the baby supplies quite so interesting after getting into the package, so at least he/she left the entire contents of the shredded package where they were supposed to be.
After digging around in the package, I also notice that the shipper had thoughtfully included a special gift along with my order! “A fitting gift just for you!” exclaims the package. I was very excited that this might make up for some of the sadness of having my package rifled through…
