What’s Wrong With This Teething Toy?

The sun is shining down upon us.
[/caption]Now that SFBaby is no longer sleeping through the night on a regular basis, we’ve started to do some things to try to keep her calm and comfortable in her crib. We’ve recently started throwing in a few toys in order to keep her occupied should she wake up before we do…and one of them was the Lamaze toy to the right.
Note that SFBaby only has two teeth (both on the bottom), so both SFMom and SFDad were puzzled as to exactly how this worked. We don’t have a dog, either!

That is scary. I mean really. That must not happen with a toy.
UPDATE: it looks like this was not SFBaby’s fault after all. Yesterday, we were puzzling over how this could have happened. We even tried biting the teething toy with our own adult teeth (full sets on top and bottom!), but we weren’t able to do take a piece out of it.
In one of her frequent moments of brilliance, SFMom then remembered that we had gone over to visit our friends T and M last week, who have a dog, and that the doggie had run off with one of SFBaby’s toys for a bit. We then put two and two together. (The good news is that we no longer have to comb SFBaby’s poo for pieces of yellow plastic.)
That’s a very funny story.
