DUM dum DUM dum DUM dum
Does the title of this post refer to the sound or to the assessment of the video?
We recently wrapped up a good weeklong visit with our friends friendlyneighbortothenorth, her husband and her 11-month-old, Susi.
SFBaby and Susi hit it off right away. From a mobility point of view, they are both at roughly the same stage, so they spent lots of time crawling around and stealing toys from each other. They had a great time and they did a fantastic job of amusing themselves. (The adults were fun to hang out with too!)
Anyway, one habit of friendlyneighbortothenorth was to say “DUM dum DUM dum DUM dum” whenever the babies were slapping their hands on the floor as they crawled around.
This sound is now, unfortunately, stuck in my head.

To those who inquired: this video was not actually shot on December 29th. SFDad needed to find some “stock video footage” that showed SFBaby crawling around, and this was the most recent one he could home up with. That’s why she looks so much younger here than she does in similar posts from around this time!
