Tenth Month in Review

I'll take that one!
We have seen the following new features emerge in the weeks since her previous “month birthday”:
- A new top tooth. (Ouchie!) She now has three teeth in total.
- Pointing! SFBaby now loves to point at things. Her current favorites are the pictures hanging on the wall; we can hardly carry her down the hallway without having her cheerily document each and every photo frame that is along her way.
- First words! SFDad managed to win the prize by being correctly labeled as “dada” a few weeks ago, but SFMom wasn’t far behind with “mahmah” (trailing by only a few weeks).
- First steps! Yesterday afternoon, SFBaby took her very first independent steps! She only made it for about three, well, baby steps before she fell down, but that was more than enough to get SFMom and SFDad excited. She has already repeated that feat a few times since then. It turns out that we were a little optimistic in predicting SFBaby’s “first steps” date, but frankly, we’re just as glad to have had the extra time to babyproof.

teeth! walking! TALKING! That is all very exciting. Although pointing is big here it seems that little Susie is falling behind. Looks like we need to have a little milestone talk with her
