The Name Game
We are certainly awestruck by her newfound power to associate names with inanimate objects in short periods of time. I mean, this is the same wriggling little baby that still gives me a blank stare when I ask her to go open up a bottle of wine from the fridge, right?
Now that we see how quickly she is picking things up, SFMom and SFDad realize that we have a golden opportunity to get her addicted to the knowledge of life. Of course, with great power comes great responsibility: while we’ve previously mentioned that SFMom is generally content to simply anthropomorphize toys and to decide on their genders, SFDad now feels like he should actually start naming all of the toys. That isn’t entirely an abuse of power, is it?
